Trees Hate You (demo)
You just had a picnic in the woods and now it's time to go home. It's just a short hike, and there's nothing in your path except a bunch of trees...should be fine, right?
Works with a controller (left stick) or a keyboard (WASD or arrow keys).
Update: I recently revisited this project and plan to expand it into a bigger game. So this game posted here is like a demo of things to come (Basically the first chapter, although I'll expand and polish it more for the full game)

Suggestion.
1) In character creation allow feature to rotate your characters 360 degrees.
2) In character creation separate female and male clothes, hair etc. its too mixed up.
3) Create an option to obtain power up such as:1) Time rewind 2) Invisibility 3)Faster Run (In order not to break game make it less than 5-7 seconds)
4) Also allow players to create their custom levels to share and compete.
5) Allow Gaming Controllers support.
6) (Personal opinion) The character runs too fast. Make it slower. Acceleration is good
CRAZY SUGGESTION to consider
1) Allow to burn 1 or 2 trees somehow to obtain hidden star GEMS or something similar.
ISSUE: when trying to read a text at the start it crashed became unresponsive, had to restart a game. Save data was not lost.
Improvenet is needed in text UI and check boxes.
Best game ever. Cant wait to be available full game in steam.

Yo! This Game is Amazing and I Really Hope your still going with this game. I wanted to know if you would be releasing any early access of this game or playtest because im super into it.
There won't be an early access launch in the Steam sense, but there will probably be some playtests. I'll share some more news here, on Steam, and on Discord when it's time for that.

i've not managed to complete this but i absolutely lost my mind watching a friend play through it (also failing to complete it) last night. incredible work
a cute and funny game. I would have appreciated a checkpoint or two as some of the sections can be tricky to execute consistently but otherwise i really enjoyed what i played.
