I really liked the concept of this game, especially narrator stuff. It was too fast to read out loud, but it was really funny! I just tried a little bit, gonna play more for myself
Fail to Win: Chapter 1
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Like many games, Fail to Win allows you to return after death. Well ... it lets your avatar Everett return. This game, however, has a few ... peculiarities. Everett may be able to return to a checkpoint, but that does not mean everything else returns with him. Pull off crazy ragdoll corpse stunts and solve deadly puzzles.
This chapter should last about an hour. If you like the game, please follow me here on Itch for updates about the full game.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! The full game (which I plan to finish by the end of the year) will have a voice-over, so hopefully that will make it easier to catch all the lines.
Thanks for playing! It was fun watching your playthrough. I actually recently updated the game to make that last stage a bit easier. It saves progress, so if you re-download it, you should be able to skip straight to the last stage if you feel like giving it another go. As a hint, Everett needs to be alive on that ledge. You can use the upside-down checkpoint and some post-respawn momentum to get up there, like in the last puzzle of stage 2.
this game was very fun and surrealistic haha, genius :D
(talking in japanese)
I enjoyed the puzzles in this game so much that I decided to make a video about it. Hope you like it.
This wasn't the easiest game going and in the end had to give up even if the portal to finish the level was sooooo close. Was really fun to play tho and a great idea. Hope it does well Ty. Great game... :)
Edit - Damn ! After watching my own video and the "momentum line", I think I got it now. lol
Ha! Yeah, this was certainly not the solution I had in mind when designing that stage, but it is quite entertaining watching people try things I never even thought of. I'm tweaking the stages here and there trying to get the right difficulty curve, and this play-through will help me figure out what needs adjustment. Thanks for playing!
This look hilarious, will definitely check it out.
Thoughts on porting to mobile?
Thanks, please do! A mobile port is unlikely because of the controls, but I'm going to get it working on gamepads soon, so a console port is an option.
crazy :D and dope music :P
Thanks for playing! Did you ever finish the first stage? There are four stages.
in what engine did you make this
